The AQUA4CERT same as the 12mm AQUA4 Anchor chain but it’s a fully Certified version that comes complete with many pages of testing, material composition and more, including a real cool hologram.
The AQUA4 is fine for most people but if you are in Survey or just like that little bit extra this AQUA4CERT is the one for you.
This AQUA4 and AQUA4CERT chain are the strongest 12mm anchor chains available in NZ bar the AQUA7 range and trhe Grade 50 stainbless steel version. The AQUA4 and AQUA4CERT 12mm are 33% stronger than any other 12mm anchor chain and almost 50% stronger than many chinese made chains.
This chain is built to the EN818-3 specifications meaning it exceeds the ISO4565 Specifications. 12mm DIN766 chain does not exist in the Specification.
Note the Working loads will be different than published in the US as they use a smaller Safety Margin. By that we mean we use a larger Safety Margin, as per the world industry standard, which means the Working loads will look smaller. But any G40 chain will break at the same load no matter what Working Load is used.An important note: As the Maggigroup use high grade materials and processes do not apply the following numbers to any other manufacturers chain. There are many chains being called the same thing yet have loads only 50% of Maggigroup products.
Maggigroup® has been manufacturing chains since 1925 and all products undergo stringent controls, which not only involve the functional testing of individual pieces but also includes the identification and evaluation of the product in terms of the environment impact and risks to the user. These processes not only satisfy environmental requirements relating to product use but also guarantee the end user gets a top quality product, which is always the Maggigroup® prime concern.
This makes Maggigroup® chains world leaders in performance, safety and reliability.
