Well what can you say about anchors, an item that is as heavily discussed as which is the best beer. Also a subject with more myths attached to it than Area 51. Some of the claims being made out there are that wild they can only have come from the script of Men in Black.
Many of these myths are really marketing where everyone supposedly makes the worlds best anchor and can show numbers to reflect that, sadly that sort of bollocks is all to common. In brief there are few bad anchors, they don't last long in a very competitive section of the market like this. But there certainly are better ones than others.
The biggest question we get asked is 'What is the best Anchor?'. After many decades of using, sussing, chatting to users everyday, testing and developing anchors we do know the answer, it's simple and easily proven. There is no one best anchor. Anyone who says there is doesn't know anchoring very well or are just feeding you a marketing line in an attempt to have a dive into your wallet.
If you combine the facts that each anchor has it's pluses and minuses with each boat is different being used for different uses along with each user also has differing desires it's pretty easy to see no one anchor can fit every situation. With that in mind we have a large range including all the 'names' plus the ones less well marketed, to ensure you get the best option for your circumstances, requirements and budget.
No one in NZ has the range or knowledge built on decades of making, using, testing and supplying anchors every single day that we can provide. Also we aren't one anchor specific so rather then talk you into the only one or 2 options they sell, we can hook you up with what you need from the large range. Below are anchors for specific uses, some all rounders, some for commercail, some for recreational and more.
