Armare Star is a high‑quality pre‑stretched polyester double braid rope made by Armare in Italy. It forms part of their cruising range and is designed for both classic and performance cruisers. Star provides a great middle ground between standard polyester braids and higher‑performance Dyneema or Spectra‑cored ropes. Its pre‑stretched polyester core delivers lower stretch than standard polyester, making it well suited for halyards and other low‑stretch applications on cruising boats without the need to step up to high‑modulus fibres.
Armare Star is a durable, well‑balanced yacht braid that performs reliably in jammers and on winches. It is stable and flexible, maintaining its softness for comfortable handling and easy splicing. While designed primarily for halyards, toppers, tackles, and control lines on cruising yachts, it also serves as an excellent general‑purpose rope outside of yachting use.
