Our ProWarp3 ropes are a specialised 3-Strand Nylon Laid Rope specifically designed and manufactured with the purpose of anchoring and windlass use in mind. ProWarp3 ropes feature a 3-strand construction made from Type 6-6 Nylon, produced through a 4 stage process and heat-set. This offers several advantages over standard Type 6 Nylon ropes. Type 6-6 Nylon provides better abrasion resistance, higher strength, reduced fatigue, and lower water absorption. The result is a rope that is more durable and stays supple longer, delivering a longer service life and lower lifetime cost. Alongside the material choice, ProWarp3 ropes are made on custom machine settings where plying, twisting, lay angles, and lay lengths are optimized to chainwheels and gypsy’s to run smoothly through windlasses and anchoring winches.

ProWarp3 ropes are designed to run on all major windlass brands including Lofrans, Lewmar, Muir, Quick, and more. We offer ProWarp3 in a range of sizes to ensure maximum compatibility across a variety of different chainwheels and gypsies, including 12.5mm (1/2″), 14mm (9/16″), 16mm (5/8″), 19mm (3/4″), and 22mm (7/8″).
