Fineline Advantage braid has become a popular choice in the New Zealand marine industry, especially among yachties. Almost every yacht you see will has Fineline Advantage on it, in varying diameters and for varying uses. It is a reliable rope and overall has good durability and longevity.
Fineline Advantage features an SK78 Dyneema core with a polyester cover, giving it high strength and low stretch. This makes it a versatile general-purpose braid. Due to its low stretch and high strength, it is particularly well-suited for halyards, control lines, and sheets—though it is by no means limited to these applications.
