DM20 Dyneema was created to meet needs that other Dyneema and UHMWPE fibers simply could not satisfy. What sets DM20 apart is its exceptional endurance in continuous and sustained use. This is achieved through its zero creep property, meaning it does not experience irreversible stretch elongation.
This makes DM20 Dyneema ideal for all rigging applications, including shrouds, forestays, backstays, strops, bobstays, and more.
Additionally, Armare DM20 is coated with Armare’s Shield coating, which enhances strength by reducing fiber-on-fiber friction, increasing UV protection, and improving abrasion resistance.
Alongside this it shares the same characteristics of other Dyneema’s and UHMWPE’s which are low stretch, incredibly high strength, low melting point, great UV resistance, low specific gravity.
