The 20m of 10mm Chain to 100m of 16mm 8 Braid Anchor Rode is a high-quality rope-to-chain pack, specifically designed for compatibility with Maxwell RC10-10, HRC10-10, and RC12-10 winches. All our anchor rodes are professionally spliced in-house by the CRA team.

This rode is made from our premium Type 6-6 Nylon ProWarp 8 Braid rope, which is Q-Tech certified and manufactured in Japan. It’s a top-tier rope we’ve used for years and trust—staying supple far longer than many other 8 braids, which contributes to a significantly extended lifespan.

The chain used in these packs is Grade 40 and sourced from one of our trusted European manufacturers: MF, Rigamonti, or Force—brands (depending on availability) renowned for quality, durability, and longevity.

The materials selected for these packs are based on what we have found performs and lasts, not what brings in the biggest buck. We only use what we would trust on our own boats.

Please Note: If you’re unsure about your winch’s gypsy size, please contact us—we’re happy to help ensure you get the correct rode. It’s critical to match the chain and rope size to your winch. Using the wrong size can result in winch damage or failure, and let’s be honest—nobody wants that. With all Muir, Lewmar, Lofrans, and Quick winches, if you have a 10mm chain let us know whether it is 10mm DIN or 10mm ISO as there are chains wheels for both 10mm’s.
