24mm Opti 5 12 Strand UHMWPE – Orange

Opti 5 Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) rope is a high quality single-braid line built for commercial marine applications—including towing, hauling, mooring, and more.

Constructed using a 12 × 12 braid, each primary strand is itself a 12-strand braid, which is then braided together to form the rope. This construction provides superior durability and abrasion resistance compared to standard 1 × 12 UHMWPE ropes, while maintaining the performance benefits UHMWPE is known for: high strength, low stretch, low weight, minimal water absorption, and excellent wear resistance.

To help prevent twisting, which can cause distortion and reduce overall strength, Opti 5 features alternating colours on the S and Z strands. This two-colour pattern makes twist identification quick and much more visible, offering a clear advantage over standard single-colour ropes.

Upon request, Opti 5 can be supplied with certification from major IACS bodies, including ABS, DNV-GL, Lloyd’s Register, and others.
