The Danforth remains reasonably popular among boaters, especially those with smaller boats, as it is affordable, stows nicely, and is easy to use. It sets quickly in most seabed types and provides good penetration in weed conditions. Suitable as a short term fishing anchor, secondary anchor or for day cruising.
