Armare 5mm SK78 Dyneema Halyard Rope Orange/White – One Design Halyard Line
The Armare 5mm SK78 Dyneema Halyard Rope is part of Armare’s One Design Series, engineered specifically for dinghies and one-design racing boats. Designed as a high-performance halyard rope, it delivers exceptional strength, minimal stretch, and reliability for competitive sailing.
Built with a SK78 Dyneema® core featuring a polyurethane coating, this rope provides low elongation—ideal for halyards. With polyurethane coating on the core the rope can also be easily tapered out.
Its Cordura®/polyester blended cover ensures excellent grip in hand and through cleats, while offering good abrasion resistance and durability for long-term use in.
Available in 5mm diameter, with a break load of 1100kg, in Black or Orange. Suitable for main, jib, and gennaker/spinnaker halyards on a wide range of high-performance dinghies, including:
