Armare 8mm Storm Line – Silver Grey

The Storm Line is a high-quality polyester double braid rope made in Italy by Armare, and forms part of their Mooring Range. Originally developed to meet the varying requirements of superyachts, the range is expansive and caters to a wide variety of vessels — from large superyachts to smaller yachts and runabouts. The range is built with both aesthetics and performance in mind. Visually, the range offers extensive customisation options with a wide selection of diameters, constructions, colours, and finishes to achieve the desired appearance and complement the vessel’s style.

As a mid-point option within the Armare Mooring Range, Storm Line features a balanced twisted polyester core with a polyester cover. This all-polyester construction provides excellent durability, UV resistance, and good performance, while maintaining good strength and elasticity. The double braid construction also allows for smooth handling and for easy splicing.

In smaller diameters, Armare Storm Line is ideal for sheets, control lines, dock and marina ropes on smaller yachts and runabouts. In larger diameters, it is well suited for mooring and docking applications on superyachts and commercial vessels. Outside of Marine, Storm Line makes for a great general purpose rope which can be used a for a large array of other applications.

Our current stocked sizes include 8mm and 12mm, however Armare can produce Storm Line in a wide range of colours and diameters up to 52mm, available on request.
