The Tasman Series of winches are built on the tried-and-tested gearbox and motor combination from the RC8 series, which has been in production since 1993 and boasts more than 100,000 units in global circulation.
This winch features a high-quality gearbox made from marine-grade aluminium, anodised for optimal protection. A key advantage of this gearbox is its ability to be positioned in 14 configurations with 15-degree increments, providing flexible installation options. It also includes a large-diameter stainless steel output hub for enhanced durability.
The drum plates are 5mm thick and fitted to a high-strength 2205-grade stainless steel shaft, ensuring robust performance. Powered by a 600W motor, this winch offers a maximum pulling force of 700kg and an impressive line speed of 50m/min, enabling you to retrieve your anchor in lightning-quick time.
The Maxwell Tasman 6-4 comes ready to use, complete with an anchor rode, toggle switch, solenoid, and circuit breaker for a seamless anchoring experience.
