Fibre comes to the country and we’re not talking interweb.
Why hump 15kg of rusty chain around when you can do the same job with 2kg of super fibre rope instead.
Using our knowledge of these super fibres we have developed a set of Trough Lifting Slings. This came about as our boss is a yachtie, has a farm and likes to fiddle but then his neighbour saw them and wanted a set, from there it grew. They are now a stock item (click here to go there)
Why fibre not chain? Weight, no rust, no whacked knuckles, easier storage, less cost and more.
What is Super about the Fibre? We use one of the newer fibres that is replacing chains and wire in a multitude of applications, called Ultra High Molecular weight Polyethylene or HHMwPE or for the more spelling challenged out there like us we call it Umpy. Some better known brand names of Umpy include Dyneema and Spectra.
What’s so good about yours over the traditional chain versions? One size fits all. They are adjustable so can fit many sizes of troughs with lifting points 10 cm up to 2.3 metres apart at maximum weight, 3000kg. If the lift is lighter the lugs can be a bit further apart. Note: We can custom make a set easily if you have an unusual situation, just drop us a line here with what you need.
