Chain guard is a great way to protect your boat or jetski from getting scratched up by the chain. One sizes fits 6mm, 7mm and 8mm chains.

When ordering please follow this rule to ensure you get the desired finished length:

– For 6mm chains there is a 7% loss and you need 200mm each end to tuck and bury the tail.
(So for a 10m length of 6mm chain to be covered you need: 10 x 1.07 + 0.2 + 0.2 = 11.1m)

– For 7mm chains there is a 12% loss and you need 200mm each end to tuck and bury the tail
(So for a 10m length of 7mm chain to be covered you need: 10 x 1.12 + 0.2 + 0.2 = 11.6m)

– For 8mm chains there is a 20% loss and you need 200mm each end to tuck and bury the tail
(So for a 10m length of 8mm chain to be covered you need: 10 x 1.20 + 0.2 + 0.2 = 12.4m)
