Description
Armare SK78 Superound Dyneema® Rope is a high quality 12-strand single braid constructed from 100% SK78 Dyneema® fibre with a polyurethane (PU) coating. SK78 Dyneema® has become the standard for high-strength, low-stretch ropes thanks to its outstanding characteristics, including: exceptional UV resistance, high strength-to-weight ratio, low stretch, excellent abrasion resistance, low water absorption, and long-term durability, while remaining cost-effective.
By weight, SK78 Dyneema® is approximately seven times stronger than steel, making it a popular alternative to traditional wire rope. The PU coating enhances the rope’s resistance to abrasion and water absorption, improves durability, and keeps the braid compact. Flexible and supple, the rope is easy to handle and splice, offering excellent working characteristics.
Applications:
Armare SK78 Superound Dyneema® is ideal for a wide range of uses where strength, minimal stretch, and durability are essential — including lightweight halyards, towlines, hauling and pulling ropes, winch lines, sheets, backstays, runners, strops, soft shackles, control lines, tackles, and grommets or eyes for blocks and fittings.
