Armare Wax Pro | Professional Waxed Polyester Whipping Twine
The Armare Wax Pro range of whipping twines are bobbins specifically designed for professional use in rigging, sail making, splicing and rope working applications. They are made from a 12 strand polyester construction with a waxed coating, providing great holding and grip. Wax Pro is our personal choice of whipping twine for most of our splicing and rigging applications. It is a high quality whipping twine which provides a great finish that remains colour fast over extended periods of time. Designed for whipping, stitching, and hand sewing. Wax Pro comes in bobbins of 500m for 1mm Diameter and 250m for 1.5mm Diameter.
If you are unsure about size a good general rule of thumb we go by is: 1mm works for up to 10mm to 12mm rope diameters and 1.5mm for any ropes above 10mm.
The Armare Wax Pro Bobbins are available in a variety of colours including Black, Blue, Brown Burgandy, Dark Blue, Green, Light Brown, Red, Silver Grey, White and Yellow in both 1mm and 1.5mm diameters.
