Force 7 Anchoring Shackle
he Force 7 Anchoring Shackle is a high-end omega (bow) style shackle designed specifically for use with Grade 50, Grade 60, and Grade 70 high tensile anchoring chains. Manufactured in France by Chaineries Limousines, these shackles are built to a high standard and feature a hot-dip galvanised finish for excellent corrosion resistance.
Engineered to match the strength of the corresponding grade 70 anchor chain, each Force 7 shackle is sized according to the chain diameter it is intended to connect to, rather than the pin diameter.
Purpose-built for anchoring applications, the Force 7 shackle incorporates a flush pin design that minimises snagging on rollers and bowsprits during deployment and retrieval. These shackles come standard with thread lock on the pins, however, we still recommend adding loctite on top of this.
